Strength in Tandem
Its a beautiful thing the transformation of ones being.
More enthralling maybe the awareness of personal growth and the courage to pick up your mini hammer and start chipping away.
How many times have I lived the same day over I swear I'd learned from? How many days lost in saying tomorrow is my day. The mind loves to imitate the heart's lines, steal the role, and "fool" everyone to the disappointing end.
I believe it takes a special being to start fresh from a past lived imperfect. Love the ugly, resiliently chase the unknown, and trust the pull of something greater. This is down right dirty to the perfectionist, that's why I am firing her from the play. Moving forward with the curiosity of a butterfly, chasing light, living easy, and only taking what I need.
There is a children's book that dictates a freshly transformed butterfly asking to return to her cocoon, or even better, maybe she could be a helpless larva again? My babysittee roared in laughter as I told her this tale. The naiveté of choosing to crawl blindly when you have already tasted flight.
Without the days as a larva, you would have never known the beauty of a butterfly.
You deserve this.
"B where you R."
